Day 6 at Rupeek

Today, Monday, was a quite interesting day at Rupeek as we interns were divided into a team of 2 people along with one Mentor and we all were assigned a project to work on. Some people got NodeJS and some got Spring Boot. Luckily, I got to work upon Spring Boot to which I was little bit familiar as compared to NodeJS.

So taking about the project, we have to develop a Social Networking Platform, where organizations can show different events, and users, based upon city and interest can register for the event and connect with other participants. So we have to implement all the must features with in 3 days.

So here are high level specifications which we have to develop -

So for this we were given milestones to achieve -

Day 1

HLD + few APIs working

Me and my Teammate, Saurav, started working upon today's milestone. Saurav was completely new to this framework and I was familiar with some part of it. So we both started working upon this by sharing what we know and discussed the flow. Then we started off with the implementation part of creating schemas and writing few APIs where we faced some challenges for which our Mentor, Balaji, helped us and we were done with some part of Day 1 milestone before the standup meet at 6:00 pm.

So, all in all, it was quite challenging and interesting day.
